“Is Junk Food Really Cheaper?”

Exactly. I hate when people are like “eating healthy is too expensive. No it’s not, Many times it’s cheaper, you just gotta know how to shop. I work 20hrs a week, making 9 dollars an hour, and I shop for all my own groceries.

I always thought it was more expensive! But since I’ve been making healthier meals I’ve discovered it really isn’t!!! It is more time intensive, but if even I can find it fun, anyone can. I mean frozen meals are terrible for you and cost $3-5 each but some veggies are 79 cents a pound! It’s just laziness that held me back before. I’m so glad I made this change to start switching to clean eating. I’m not fully clean but I’m so much better. I just need to convince my boyfriend to do it with me and we’ll be set!

Tonight’s dinner was a new recipe from the Cooking Light magazine: wheat linguine and shrimp in a light Alfredo sauce. It tasted great! Definitely a keeper recipe.
