Well, since I have been unsuccessful in my science job search, I have decided to at least start a local science club.  I think it’ll be fun to watch science films, read articles, and discuss the latest discoveries.  I’d even like to make a “garage lab” and do basic experiments and such.  And maybe we can get involved with the schools.  These are pretty long-term goals, the hardest challenge will be to find people interested in science.  I don’t personally know anyone in the area, so I’m trying to reach out and find them, and then see if they are interested.  I just feel so disconnected from science and I really want to make new friends as well!  I’d like to use facebook as the information site unless you have another suggestion?  Or know any way I can find people to join?
